Lest We Forget! I remember reading "In Flanders Fields" when I was in school and I remember when the center of the Poppies the veterans would sell were green for YEARS before changing it to it's proper color, black. I remember standing each day for "O Canada" every morning at school. I remember watching "All Quiet on the Western Front" and knowing that they weren't so different from us. I remember that Christmas was the day there was peace on the war front in 1914 and then in a small Cabin in 1944. They fought for their homelands, each believing they were just. They fought for their comrades and loved ones, and they fought for us, their descendants.
