So with Pay day I went about my errands today (Bank and Groceries). When I got to the bank the ATM that also includes $50s was beeping. There was cash hanging out of the slot that someone forgot to take. So I went to tell a Teller inside (while keeping an eye on the ATM and telling a gentleman I was letting someone know).
I told the teller and she and her customer were so surprised at my honesty. Saying how nice it was. I think it's pretty fucking sad that people would automatically assume someone would steal the money every single time. At at glance, I would say it was about $500. How many of you would steal it? What if you were desperate? How many would just think about it? Is our society so messed up? I can honestly say that it wasn't even a thought in my mind to take it. My first and only reaction is to tell someone and hope that the person realizes their mistake and comes back for it. I don't need a thank you or a good job or even to know I did something nice or will have good karma. I already know and I can be proud of myself for it. Hopefully when the person comes back and feels relief and gratitude for the mysterious person who did such an honorable thing will pay it forward for someone else. *BTW, so watching that movie today*

Honestly, i'd do the same thing as you. 1. There's a camera at all ATM and you could get into a lotta trouble. 2. Well I mean I GUESS it's wrong. :P Lol jp it is.
