So I posted some days ago that my legs have been hurting me again after 5 years. I went to the hospital because the pain was so bad. The doctor that I saw barely looked at my foot and prescribed inflammatory pills. It was at MY insistence that I get a referral from her to see an Ortho. (Whoever said free medicare was all it was cracked up to be. Our taxpayer's money do wonders right there. Might as well have a revolving door hospital -.- )
Anyway, the inflammatory pills kinda worked, only been on them for a few days and now they are utterly useless to me. The Ortho I saw today told me what is most likely causing me pain: There is a bone or ligament (the accent was really strong) that is missing in my foot. Or suffice to say, there is a piece missing that aligns my foot for proper balance. My very own factory defect that I was born without and that is causing me to try and overcompensate to keep my balance (my foot sticking out at an angle when I walk instead of being straight) and to try to keep my feet straight is hell when I walk because I don't have that piece of my foot needed. Now my leg is hurting me again because my custom orthos are wearing down causing me to start overcompensating again. So now I have to wait 2 weeks for my new Orthos to be made and will have to replace them every two years or so. This pain I feel I will have to live with for the rest of my life and there is nothing I can do to permanently fix it. The Orthos are just going to be added to the list of permanent medical expenses in my life. But finally, a doctor/specialist that actually cares about the patient to find the root cause of the problem and not just apply a bandaid fix. I mean yeah, my mom told me when I was trying to learn to walk when I was younger I would creep and they took me to see a doctor because they were worried I would never walk at all and the doctor did nothing. Just said I will when I am ready. Now on top of all this, I also have flat feet which means I have to try to find the right pair of shoes to wear because not only do I have to take my flat feet into account, but how the shoes will affect my balance and if they will give me the support I need.

No way are Zombies eating out my braaaains. :D LOL! Haven't written here in ages O.O
I've been doing okay. Found a new place to live cuz they're jacking the rat hole that I live in by 5% (greedy slum lords -.- ). And really, I couldn't live with my younger brother forever. My legs have been hurting me again. It's been about 5 years, and not liking the fact that they are bothering me again, but meh, I can survive it. I'm sure when the weather warms up again it won't bother me so much. I changed the site back to my preferred darker colors. I liked the freshness of the way it looked before, but once I stopped by the Unbound shop and saw the death pose Bliss made, I decided to use it to make changes to siggies and my banner here. The darker colors are just more me, and I LOVE Orange as much as I love All Hallow's Eve so get used to seeing it lol. I'll prolly keep the banner as is for awhile as it's my most favorite holiday. I love supernatural stuff. Speaking of, I haven't had a full chance to play the Supernatural expansion pack. I'm waiting for Seasons to come out, cuz I want a Halloween town to be on Permanent Autumn. Then I'll play hehe. Other than that, I have gone in game and done a few photoshoots, and I plan on more, but it'll be AFTER I move (around November 1st). I do have a simotography gallery up of sim photo shoots and amateur ones I've taken. And I added back the forums (pro version) and I'll be adding my tuts there and the school is there now as well. |
