LOL Galatea, how fitting . .too bad we can't do the same song, so instead I decided to go for Mad World by Gary Jules from the movie Donnie Darko. Just a more depressing song for the end of the world than Great Big Sea lol. (And I <3 this song as well) Yes, it's a spoof. Yes, it's capitalization on the beliefs of an ancient culture and therefore has no tact (lets face it, there are people who believe the world will end and will take drastic measures) but no, Jello will not save us. It'll take more than the end of a calendar year to end the world and something a lot more drastic than jello to save it. Man! Who writes this crap? I saw my Ortho specialist at work the other day, so she asked how I was doing. Told her I was doing fine except getting used to the orthotics was difficult as it took a bit longer.
She mentioned that in my case it's not unusual and that I have SIX MORE MONTHS before the orthotics help my foot get better. Because it's like I have a fracture, so in which case, if I see no improvement in 6 months I have to go back and get my foot reset. I'll have to start shopping around in the new year for a really good pair of shoes for work since there is no way I can wear my steel toed shoes for the next 6 months or most of my other ones, since I wore my moccasins down to crap in a matter of months. >.< Day 18 - A song that soothes and calms Japanese or Chinese for that matter, is very soothing and calming to me. It's like my Tea Tree shampoo, it gives you that Ahhhhh! moment of contentment. Day 17 follows the video. Day 17 - A song that makes you want to dance. I ♥ this song and the fact that the person made it a fan wideo :P of Ville and Bam is just icing on the cake :D I am going to share three songs, you don't have to Galatea, that are Celtic. As I said yesterday I am part Scottish. I am also part British and Irish as well so perhaps my love of Celtic music is somehow ingrained from my ancestors who once hailed from that part of the world. I chose three, because I really couldn't pick from the three, although Mordred's Lullaby was one I found last night and instantly loved, so I added it to the list. The other two are called Voices and Mummer`s Dance. Enjoy! I chose this one because every time I hear it I'm like YEAH! *FIST PUMP* Day 10 - Song you want/wanted played at your wedding. This one! Cuz it's all about ME!!! Hahahahahaha . . . . .I'm Serious! This song was in the cassette that I was talking about a few days back. So of course this was my number 1 song from it and I think it would make for a great wedding song to dance to :P Day 9 - a song that no one would expect you to like I used to live with an Upwester back in Uni, so any country that has stuck with me is partly due to them and partly due to them. This is one of the very few songs I like that's country, as anyone who knows me knows I'm not a fan of this genre. Yes, I did forget yesterday's, so you get a 2 for 1 deal :P AND if you head over to >>Galatea's blog<<, she's joining me in the song challenge to keep me motivated. Thank you Galatea <3 So here is Day 6: Day 6 Song Challenge - Song you can't go a day without listening to This one! It's on my phone and it's usually blaring in my ears as I go to work on the bus or come home. And if I'm off, it's on my youtube playlist lol. Plus it's my ringtone. Yup, totally obsessed :P Day 7 follows the video VV Day 7 - Dedicate a song to your group of friends I chose this song, because it's how I feel towards my friends. They can count on me for ANYTHING. I'll always be there for them, no matter what. <3 you guys!!!! |
